Ana María Rosado
Puerto Rican guitarist recognized for her commitment to contemporary Latin American music. She has performed globally, from the United States and Europe to Latin America and the Far East. She was selected as USIA Artistic Ambassador, touring numerous countries in Latin America, and is an active performer and master class instructor at international festivals. Formerly an Associate Professor of Music at the New Jersey City University, her professional focus is now solely on performance.
Alexander Parra Ríos
Colombian guitarist whose most prominent teacher was the highly acclaimed composer and guitarist from Colombia, Gentíl Montaña (1942-2011), thus acquiring profound knowledge of the interpretive aspects of Montaña’s music. Alex also taught guitar at the composer’s foundation and currently teaches at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia and at the Universidad El Bosque of Bogotá. His professional achievements include a landmark recording of all the guitar quartets of Montaña.
